How ISO certification works
ISO writes the standards but does not issue certificates. An independent certification body audits your management system and, when the evidence shows it meets the standard, issues a certificate. EUROTECH is that body for the management system standards marked Certified by EUROTECH below.
Certification follows the same rhythm for every management system standard: a Stage 1 review of your documented system, a Stage 2 audit of how it works in practice, a certification decision, then yearly surveillance audits and a recertification audit in the third year.
Three ways we deliver
- Certified by EUROTECH: we audit and issue the certificate under our IAB and INTAQS accreditation. ISO starts at $800.
- Consultancy and third-party certification: for schemes such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, Halal or Sedex we prepare you and a third-party certification body certifies you. We may carry out the audit for that body.
- Consultancy and notified body package: for CE marking we prepare the technical file and take it to an EU notified body. Your package price includes the notified body fees where one is needed.

Questions buyers ask
Which ISO certification do I need?
Most companies start with ISO 9001 for quality. Add ISO 14001 for environment, ISO 45001 for health and safety, or ISO 27001 for information security when customers or tenders ask for them. Tell us what your buyer requires and we will point you to the right standard.
Can I combine several standards in one audit?
Yes. Standards that share the ISO harmonized structure, such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, can be audited together as an integrated system, which usually takes fewer audit days than separate audits.
How long is an ISO certificate valid?
Three years, with a surveillance audit each year and a recertification audit before the certificate expires.
What does certified by EUROTECH mean?
We audit your system and issue the certificate ourselves under our IAB and INTAQS accreditation. For schemes marked consultancy and third-party certification, a partner certification body issues the certificate.
Do prices include the audit?
The starting prices on each page are for the service shown. Your written quote lists exactly what is included, such as audit days and travel for on-site audits.
